Great suggestions. I think kids would be very inventive with their scrapbooking ideas. And what child doesn't love Disney? Great combination and great post.

I love how you laid it all out for us. What we will need and some ideas as to each thing. I really enjoyed that you shared what your own personal choices are. Great post.

I just did a quick ebay search and like you said only saw the kits. Perhaps you could just buy a regular undated disney world scrapbook and make some numbers for the front, it may look a little tacky, but better than nothing! Good luck!
References :
Keep an eye on eBay...I believe I have seen them there. Maybe post a free ad on craigslist in your area as well. Many people buy things like that and than never use them so it is possible someone local will have it too.
References :
to use the back of your pages you may find it easier to go through your photos first and slip them into your individual sleeves in some sort of order, re your trip. then go for it. i do it often, and more so when theres a heap of photos that give a theme based album.
References :
If it's two sided paper (designs on both sides), go ahead. If not, don't. Scrapbooking isn't about rules and having to do things, but about having fun getting your memories down.
References :
Like many people, I started scrapbooking years ago at a Creative Memories party. The way I was taught was to use both sides of the page, making sure you have everything laid out and planned before you start using adhesive. It has taken me a long time to get to where I can use a sheet of paper on one side for the types of albums I use now. So my advice is to go for it! Don't do any writing until you're sure about the placement of all your photos/embellishments, and creative backgrounds can cover a multitude of sins if you decide you don't like the way the page looks and have to move stuff around, leaving a mark on the paper!
